Country Memories sits on 240 beautiful acres deep in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. The owner’s live on site in the historic home just in front of the guesthouse. A wonderful outdoor sitting area as well as an upstairs deck off the bedroom. Enjoy sitting in these areas in the morning with a cup of coffee or in the evening with a glass of wine. There are plenty of deer and other wildlife as well as friendly farm animals at Country Memories. Parts of this bed and breakfast were constructed with wood salvaged from an old milk barn located on the farm. There is also an historic, but not for use, cooking stove in the house. If you want to come and relax and leave, the big city behind, this is the place for you. Come and make some memories at Country Memories.
VRBO/HomeAway Review #26503298 ★★★★★ It is a great little cabin for a get away. But when the listing says that the owners live on the property they don’t tell you that they live in the house 20’ away from the cabin. But they are a great older couple and did not even try to approach or bother us unless we initiated contact. Date of arrival - May 24, 2019
May 2017 The property was beautiful and very clean! My husband and I had the best time staying at Country Memories! We had the best views of the beautiful countryside. We had the opportunity to meet Toni and Jackie and they were just the sweetest couple! We will definitely stay here again when we come to visit Fredericksburg. Thank you for a great stay!

April 2017 Spotless, adorable cottage with great hosts My husband and I stayed at the cottage on a long weekend in Fredericksburg. The place was absolutely perfect! It was spotless in every way and had all the amenities and comforts we needed. And the Host and Hostess left us some wonderful home baked goodies for breakfast in the mornings... Although I couldn't wait for breakfast to dip into them! And when a big rain came and the water started to rise, Toni and Jackie helped us move our truck across the river's low water crossing so that we wouldn't be stranded. How very considerate! We will definitely stay here again.
Date of arrival March 10, 2017 The listing was amazing and the pictures do not do the listing justice. The property was located away from the hussle and bustle of the main city. The property owners were great and very easy to get along with. The drive was short to the main city, and the property was centrally located near money points of interest. I will definitely be visiting this property again and again.
March 2017 Pure relaxing! We stayed 4 nights and wanted to move in! Absolutely wonderful hosts and despite being close to the main house it did not take long for us to settle in and feel like we had everything to ourselves. Great view of deer that are fed daily and the Perdenales River running beside the house. Thanks for a wonderful stay and we will be back.
February 25, 2017 Peaceful and pleasant This property is perfect for a relaxing getaway. The guest house is decorated with vintage items and has a great view. The balcony off the loft is a great place to view the scenery, although it was a bit too chilly during our stay to use it for very long. The owners provide some history of the home and the area that was a delight to read. Nearly all amenities that you would need are provided, including food for breakfast. We had the privilege of meeting the owners and they are very pleasant, interesting people. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would visit again.
March 2016 It was a wonderful stay and to spend Easter here was special. Thank you for all the breakfast treats and Easter eggs. You have the most beautiful cottage that we have ever stayed at. Kerry and Ingrid
March 2016 This place is a dream place to escape, stargaze, deer watch and spend time in the guest house that was quiet and secluded. The house is great and has everything a couple needs. The architecture of the home was great both interior and exterior. This rental is bookmarked in my favorites. The Garretts
November 2015 Great treats! Loved the wild and not- so-wild life. The drive from town was well worth the effort. One of the most welcoming and comfortable places we have stayed. Vicki and Mike
