Guesthouse in Fredericksburg, TX in the heart of the Texas Hill
Country.
One of the most unique and beautiful properties in town, Shady Creek
is located on a sprawling acre of beautifully landscaped grounds with
a majestic canopy of shade trees arching over a limestone lined
stretch of Fredericksburg’s Town Creek. The natural beauty is simply
breathtaking and beckons you to spend the day relaxing along the creek
in one of several sitting areas, feeding the ducks and turtles, or
leisurely fishing. |
Our Suites
Shady Creek offers three
unique suites that have been meticulously restored and furnished to
offer the perfect combination of luxury, romance and relaxation.
The suites can be reserved separately or four total bedrooms
can be combined to accommodate groups as large as twelve.
The main “Sunday House” is one of the most
recognizable structures in Fredericksburg and has been visited by many
prominent Texans including former President George Bush.

walkway along the creek is the ideal place to take an afternoon

The Master Suite offers two luxurious and
unique bedrooms joined by an Italian marble tiled floor bathroom with
granite countertops, copper sink and a whirlpool tub. The large
living area features a large, limestone wood-burning fireplace,
20-foot vaulted ceilings, a wet bar, and large bay windows with a
beautiful view of our wooded creek. The Carriage House is our
secluded luxury suite, with a king-size custom iron bed, a romantic
two-person whirlpool tub, and an incredible view of Town Creek. |

We have spared no expense
in preserving the tranquility and old world feeling of this truly
unique property but have also included all the modern amenities that
you deserve. Beautiful
linens, custom pillow-top mattresses and luxurious queen and king
beds. In addition, each suite includes cordless telephones, full
cable television, V.C.R./DVD, and CD players or complete stereo systems.
