They have been featured in the gourmet magazine Bon Appetit, taught
cooking classes, catered political, company, and private parties across
the country and Sam has been a guest chef at the Beringer Vineyards in
Napa, CA. Sam and Becky have won many blue ribbons for their cooking
exploits at the State Fair of Texas, and have written three cookbooks,
including the best selling I'm Glad I Ate When I Did, 'Cause I'm Not
Hungry Now.
The old stone house was built in the German
tradition in 1854, and was a dairy farm around the turn of the century. It
is in the dining room of this house where you will be served your gourmet
Texas Hill Country breakfast. Your breakfast might feature homemade, light
as a feather, buttermilk biscuits, omelets, caramel pecan rolls, locally
made sausages and bacon, freshly ground coffee and many other mouth
watering delicacies. One thing for sure, you will never leave the table
